Six key NPCs populate CRE Tycoon's world. Each plays a unique role and offers powerful temporary buffs when you interact with them. Talk to an NPC to trigger their buff, which lasts for a set number of turns. Each NPC has a cooldown period before you can interact with them again. Strategic NPC timing is crucial for maximizing deal success, financing advantages, and portfolio growth.
NPC Interaction System
How NPCs Work
- Interaction Cost: 1 AP per NPC interaction
- Reward: 25 XP per interaction + temporary buffs
- Cooldown: Each NPC has a turn-based cooldown (2-3 turns) before you can interact again
- Buff Duration: Buffs last 2-4 turns depending on the NPC
- Strategic Timing: Plan NPC interactions around major deals, property purchases, or renovations to maximize their effect
Optimal NPC Strategy
With 12 action points available at high ranks, dedicate 1-2 AP per turn to NPC interactions:
- Talk to 1-2 NPCs per turn (1 AP each) based on your immediate goals
- Time interactions with Victor before closing major deals
- Talk to Maria before property purchases to lock in better financing
- Coordinate Tony interactions with renovation timelines
- Plan Priya interactions before properties enter appreciation phases
NPC Milestones
Beyond regular interactions, NPCs also react to major career milestones with special dialogue and bonus XP rewards:
